Covid-19 Update
Hey there everyone! We know everyone has been adjusting to the strange year we have had so far. As a community we have banded together to socially distance and try to “flatten the curve” and it is being reported that we are getting closer to winning. We know things have been changing swiftly over the last two months, so we just wanted to give you an update on how we are changing and adapting to keep your family and ours safe.
Firstly online bookings are back up and running here. If you are having any difficulties please call or text 0452249379 so we can help you out.
There will be 15 minutes between appointments to allow for cleaning. This means that appointments might not always start on the hour so we ask that you read your reminder SMS carefully when you receive them.
Do not arrive early for your appointment.
Payment can be made via card facilities at the clinic or if you are happy to go completely touch free you can sign up to “medipass” and enter in your health fund details and credit/debit card. It works a bit like online banking; you will be sent a text code by medipass to confirm your payment. This is then entered into your medipass account. If your health fund is using this system you will still only be charged the gap after your private health insurance rebate.
There may not be towels on the treatment table. We will try to avoid this but going into winter it becomes more difficult to turn around laundry in a daily manner. If you want to bring your own towels please feel free to do so.
Please try to avoid wearing jeans or trousers with belts and buckles as this may tear the table fabric.
If you feel uncomfortable coming in we can offer telehealth (an online appointment) for a reduced rate. We are trialling this so there may be some bugs that need ironing out, so please be forgiving.
All Patients must use the hand sanitiser at the desk. Practitioners will be washing their hands prior to, and after all appointments.
We are treating all patients, however it is in your best interest if you are a “high risk” person such as an immunocompromised, have pre-existing conditions or over 65 to follow the guidelines set out by the World Health Organisation and stay at home unless completely necessary.
Most importantly, if you are experiencing any symptoms of cold or flu such as
a temperature,
sore throat,
cough or
fever
Please DO NOT come in for your appointment and call us to cancel. We reserve the right to refuse to treat you if we feel that it would put our staff or patients at risk.
